The FounderRaised near Paris and descended from French nobility, Astrid de Saint Anthost apprenticed in Paris. She learned the basis of her craft at Atelier Dynale, whose clients included Gianfranco Ferré and John Galliano at Dior, Alexander McQueen at Givenchy and Christian Lacroix.
In 1997, Astrid journeyed to New York. Thriving off her new city's energy, she soon established Le Studio Anthost. Since then, she has allied her workshop—now located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn—with New York's most distinguished designers.
Astrid's work appeared in Arbiters of Style: Women at the Forefront of Fashion, an exhibit on the historical significance of women designers and tastemakers, at the Museum at FIT in 2008.
