Internship / Part-Time Studio Assistant

We are a thriving creative artist studio in Brooklyn, looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, multitasking team member to join our small, growing team. This position is available as either an internship or a part-time role, with strong potential for growth.

What We’re Looking For

Technical Skills

• Fully fluent in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator

• Sewing knowledge (proficient preferred)

• Embroidery knowledge (basic to advanced)

• Understanding of surface design techniques (printing, appliqué, foiling)

• Comfortable creating pattern repeats for collections

Creative & Digital Skills

• Experience creating brochures and marketing materials

• Ability to assist in producing video content for Instagram promotion

• Strong visual sense and design awareness

Production & Operations

• Assist with studio production work

• Create labels and production materials

• Manage and track inventory (textiles, supplies, materials)

• Ensure all supplies are in stock when production orders are placed

Personal Qualities

• Extremely detail-oriented (this is essential)

• Highly organized

• Quick learner

• Comfortable working in a small, high-paced, high-pressure environment

• Strong communication skills

• Self-motivated and proactive
